Terry Marie Cork was born the only daughter to lawyer Edward Cork and electrical engineer Marie Blake in the city of Birmingham, England. While she had a relatively common childhood, about the age of fifteen would her parents divorce and result in her never getting in touch with her father again.
Raised solely by her mother onwards, she would graduate in Criminology at the University of Coventry and master in Countering Organised Crime and Terrorism by the University College of London. Her first intention had always been to join law enforcement, but would it be one of her professors to suggest her for secret services agencies.
As a Junior Agent of the MI-6 about a year after her master, one of her first commands was in Ireland, where she would be selected eventually as an Agent of the Counterterrorism Taskforce. Due to her qualification and excellent services, Terry was moved to Afghanistan in order to liaise and infiltrate final resources.

There, would she travel around the provinces occupied, such as Helmand, Kandahar and Kunduz, with the purpose of organising the forces to return to England and prevent any attacks to come in the meanwhile. Yet, she could have never guess that Kunduz would offer her the lowest point of her career, in which the lack of any possible communication left her to merely watch as mass murder and gang rape were to take place in 2015.
Her discharge would come shortly after, but the emotional wounds were left open for Terry to deal with as the SIS would close the case before even processing it. For the following months, the woman was invited into London's STRIKE wing, and that provided her just the taste of rush that she needed to hide the wounds war had left behind.
Meantime, Terry completed her doctorate in Criminal Justice Studies for the three years that followed, specialising in her preferred field while remaining a prolific field agent. In the final year of her qualification, never did she expect that a child would come and force her to halt her career for a moment and project a new route from then on.
Nevertheless, when she was offered the permanent seat in 2019 as a leading agent in the Senior Board of the Counterterrorism Taskforce of London, Cork accepted immediately, leaving behind the reckless years with STRIKE as she finally felt ready to start anew.
